The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle has been engineered to give officers an advantage in a variety of situations. Built on the Tahoe foundation, Tahoe PPV features a 5.3L engine, exceptional handling, a spacious interior and the ability to handle heavy loads. It also provides smart features like police-specific front-row seats to accommodate duty belts and a simplified electrical architecture to help streamline upfitting. NEW EMERGENCY LIGHTING PACKAGE FOR 2023
Tahoe PPV now offers an available Whelen LED Lamp package for emergency lighting. Includes four ION light heads mounted in front grille and integrated Outer Edge Rear Pillar with six ION light heads. Rear D-pillar lighting integrates seamlessly with the Tahoe exterior design.

To run multiple accessories, Tahoe PPV has dual batteries (900 CCA and 760 CCA) with a 250-amp alternator as well as an electrical architecture with dedicated wiring harnesses that help simplify upfits. It also has a trailering capacity up to 6,000 lbs. to help eliminate the need for a dedicated towing vehicle.
HELPING OFFICERS ON THE ROAD
With 6-piston front Brembo® brake calipers and 16-inch front rotors along with eBoost™ anti-lock brakes, Tahoe PPV helps officers stop their vehicles safely and quickly. Plus, push-button Electronic Shift will automatically shift the vehicle to Park if the ENGINE START/STOP button is pressed when the vehicle is stopped while in Drive, Low or Reverse, which could help save officers valuable seconds.
